When things don’t go the way we want, our minds can move quickly from discomfort to irritation, frustration, and anger. By the time anger has taken over, our freedom to choose can feel very small. Patient acceptance is a mind we can train in advance—a way of meeting difficulties without immediately resisting, blaming, or fighting against what is happening. In this class, we’ll explore how practicing patient acceptance in everyday moments can help us remain peaceful, flexible, and able to choose our response when life gets hard.
